EVANGELISM: Through large and small evangelistic crusades, one-on-one evangelism, village meetings, and local church meetings, the preachers of South India Christian Mission are always at the task of planting seeds of Christianity. Evangelism is a top priority!
PREACHER TRAINING: South India Christian Mission trains national evangelists through two-year Bible Colleges in three different geographical regions. These include extensive biblical studies along with practical church ministry training, and a practicum. By the time a batch of 16 - 24 student preachers graduates, each will have also planted one or more village churches. In addition, one to three-day training seminars are conducted at various places in South India and Sri Lanka. These short-term seminars are typically attended by anywhere from 20 to 120 preachers and leaders.
CHURCH PLANTING: South India Christian Mission has planted around 50 churches in South India and Sri Lanka, and also nurtures and encourages more than 100 additional preachers!
SOCIAL OUTREACH: SICM responds with medical care, shelter, food, and clothing needs for orphans, children, widows and storm victims. We started and sponsor a school and an orphanage, and medical camps in villages of India.
